-Room: Here's why I didn't rate it five star. My room had holes around places where utilities were hooked to the room (sprinkler, pipes, etc.) Where the sprinkler came into the room, the hole was bigger than the sprinkler. Something to keep in mind, that this is in the somewhat south, so there might be critters. I would suggest some caulking in the rooms...
Just want to say THANK YOU to Sarah and the rest of the hotel staff.. Our room was clean and we were happy to have a People and Dog friendly place while we waited out Hurricane Irma. Great Value, Highly recommend based on our experience. Thanks Again, Gary , Jackie and Buddy the Dog. ;)
-Breakfast: My itinerary had me leaving before it started, but the breakfast area looked cozy.
Hotel staff gave my messages to another guest who happened to work with me. Also room didnt have hot water in the sink. Room320. Rooms were half cleaned. Literally one bed made and the other untouched. Had a person in lobby panhandling everyone for money first thing in morning. Never said anything to the lady. They completely over looked it. Also breakfast is frozen biscuits with gravy everyday. Yuck!!!! Rented 5 rooms for 2 weeks. Wont happen again.
-Hotel: your basic Super 8, basic amenities, soda machines, etc.
This hotel was decent for what it was and especially for the region of the country that it's in. You either pay a lot for a hotel room or stay at a sketchy motel in this area. This hotel bridges that gap. The AAA rate had it just over $70 which was a fair price for the room and such.
Great location very good service smoking and non smoking pets allowed plenty of parking for tractor trailer aswell
Friendly staff, clean rooms, close to food and shopping. Free wifi. Nice updated rooms, even though it's right off the highway you couldn't hear any traffic.
-Bathroom: again, holes around utility entrances. The tub could've used more cleaning attention. Otherwise, alright.
-Staff: Super friendly and courteous, I felt welcome.
